There is deep and special bond We  share with our beloved pets that makes the pain of their passing just as deep as any loved One.. Some may say.. " Oh just get another dog " how heart wrenching that is to hear.. When you think NO one understands the pain your feeling over this loss.. Well here we do understand.. I too have had to make those decisions for some rescues.. and it has broken a piece of my heart each time.. I have often found it helps me to grieve if I journal/blog.. and get my thoughts in writing.. so maybe more folks will know THEY are not alone in this type of grief.. I have taken heart in knowing/hoping that there is a place called " Rainbow Bridge ".. It reads like this.

Il se forme un lien spécial et puissant que nous partageons avec nos animaux qui font que leur mort nous fais souffrir autant que de perdre un être humain. Il y en a qui dissent.. « Bah t’a qu’à t’en acheter un autre chien » comme sa peut blesser profondément d’entendre ça.  Quand vous penser que personne comprend la peine que vous éprouvez à cause de cette perte, bien, nous sommes là et nous comprenons. J’ai du, moi aussi, prendre cette décision pour mes chiens secourus et ceci à pris un petit morceau de mon cœur chaque fois que je l’ai fait. Pour moi, ce qui m’aide est d’écrire dans un journal ou un blog et de mettre mes pensés sur papier et par ce fait même, peut-être d’autre gens sauront qu’ils ne sont pas seuls avec ce genre de peine…

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

So here is a place You can Remember Your Pet.. I'll start with the two rescues Charlie and Billy The Kid.. That didn't make it .. both to cancer and a tough life.

Alors, voici une place où vous pouvez rendre hommage à votre animal. Je vais commencer avec deux de mes chiens secourus, Charlie et Billy The Kid, qu’on n’a pas réussi à sauver, les deux avaient le cancer et ils ont eu la vie dure…
